But Congress still refuses to take action other than thoughts and prayers. Charlie Kirk did not deserve to die, but this commemorative coin B.S. is a clear example of the double standard being inflicted upon this country today.

Having attended a number of funerals in my seven-plus decades on earth, including for several beloved public officials in New Orleans, I can truthfully say that I’ve never seen merchandise sold at such solemn events. No fireworks, either. The only keepsakes are small prayer cards that can be tucked into one’s Bible, and those are free. No charge for the reception afterwards, either, with refreshments.

Kirk was neither a “champion” of Christ or truth. Kirk was a provocateur who made his name “owning” the libtards. He did not debate. He used snark, disdain, and disinformation to shut down his challengers and when confronted with factual reality he quit the “debate” with comments like “we’re just going back and forth here” as if such is a legitimate debate response. He believed random gun deaths were an acceptable price to pay for the “freedom” to defend your other rights. He lived and died in the America he dreamed of and promoted. That doesn’t make him a martyr but MAGA fascists are desperate for one so here we are.
