I think this is clever but too high brow for people in Louisiana to get.
I agree with Susan. Needs to be something like “Impeach Jindal” or “Jindal Sucks” or a picture of Bobby saying ‘You’re Fired’ ala Trump. People would get that.
It’s intended as a private joke among those who oppose Jindal. If it prompts others to ask what it means then it becomes a dialog starter. It’s not intended for widespread understanding; it’s like a special code for a select number of people.
Down the road, we intend to offer T-shirts with Piyush’s face on the front and the names of certain significant campaign contributors on the back. And we’re not above offering coffee cups with Piyush’s face on the side, divided by a large crack emblazoned down the middle of his face.
Knowing that your imagination knows no limits, just listening to your ideas of potential anti-Jindal trinkets lightens the load of putting up with him for another three years.
However, if the legislators muster the courage to stop him with a 2/3 (or is it just 60%?) super majority, I will wear a t-shirt voicing my approval of them and would hope we could list the names of all that voted to return sanity to our state.
Still think you should put LouisianaVoice.com on the bottom of the bumper sticker to help drive traffic to the site. Aren’t you supposed to reach as many people as possible? If you’re looking to raise money for the new site, just selling bumper stickers to the people who “get the joke” won’t garner a big haul. Again, how much $ are you hoping to raise for the new site?
I understood it and college educated people will
but I doubt that the general public will.
