U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise’s claim that he did not know who he was talking to when he spoke to that meeting of the Workshop on Civil Rights hosted by the European-American Unity and Rights Conference (EURO) back in May of 2002 is coming unraveled like a cheap suit.
And so too, are the cover stories concocted by participants of that meeting who are trying to pull Scalise’s fat out of the fire.
And those accounts, with their unsavory associations and bizarre twists, constitute some of the most sordid stories imaginable, complete with bombing plots, pornography, escort services, mailing lists and dozens of politicians who subsequently went into scramble mode.
Mark Twain once said, “If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything” and because of conflicting memories of those involved, the coverups appear to be spinning out of control.
Thanks to stellar investigative reporting by blogger Lamar White, Scalise’s position as House Majority Whip could go the same way as that of former Sen. Trent Lott (R-MS) who resigned his post as Senate Majority Leader following his association with a similar white supremacy group, the Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC). Lott resigned from the Senate five years later and now works, along with former U.S. Sen. John Breaux (D-LA) in the powerful Washington lobbying firm Squire Patton Boggs.
CCC and EURO have cross-pollinated over the years to the point where it’s difficult to distinguish one from the other with certain individuals having been—and remaining—members of both organizations.
One of those with just such dual membership is Kenny Knight of Prairieville.
Knight has publicly taken credit for issuing the invitation to Scalise to speak to the Jefferson Heights Civic Association at the Landmark Hotel in Metairie 12 years ago, but not, he said, to EURO, which was scheduled to meet in the same room later that day.
There are several problems with that story.
One, Scalise himself has made no such claim, choosing instead to plead ignorance that he was addressing a white supremacy group in 2002 while he was a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives. He makes no mention of any such civic association. http://www.businessreport.com/article/scalise-defending-amid-rising-scandal-regarding-2002-speech-white-supremacist-event
But claiming ignorance is a pretty weak defense given his comment years ago to New Orleans Times-Picayune reporter Stephanie Grace that he was “like David Duke without the baggage.” http://www.theneworleansadvocate.com/news/state/11213737-123/stephanie-grace-scalises-pitch-to
Duke, of course, was—and is—President of EURO and also addressed the Landmark gathering via teleconference hookup from Europe.
The second inconvenient snag in the failure to communicate (with apologies to the late Strother Martin of Cool Hand Luke) occurred when Knight told the Times-Picayune that he was not a member of EURO http://www.nola.com/politics/index.ssf/2014/12/david_duke_adviser_kenny_knigh.html
Barbara Noble, whom the Times-Picayune said “was dating Knight” at the time of Scalise’s address (the implication being they might no longer be dating), backed up his claim. “Neither of us were members of EURO,” she said.
But while technically, Knight may not have a member of EURO, a quick check of the Louisiana Secretary of State’s corporate records reveals that he was not only a member of the organization’s predecessor, the National Organization for European American Rights (NO FEAR), he was the organization’s treasurer. (Duke changed the name to EURO after being sued for trademark infringement by No Fear, Inc.)
And what would be Noble’s motivation in having his back if she is a former girlfriend?
A further check of the Secretary of State’s web page also reveals that she and Knight both were officers of or affiliated with five separate corporate entities, three of which are still in good standing with the Secretary of State’s office.
All-American Health & Life Insurance of Metairie is not in good standing for failure to file its annual report with the Secretary of State, records show but both were listed as officers. Knight was the firm’s president she was vice president.
Southeast Solar Distributors likewise is listed as inactive by the Secretary of State. She was the company’s president and Knight its vice president when it was active, records show.
While she is not listed as an officer of T-Mart, Inc. of Prairieville, a telephone call to the business by LouisianaVoice reached her voice mail. Other active businesses in which the two are involved include Axcess Medical Clinic, Inc., of Prairieville (Knight is Director and she is Secretary) and Louisiana Men’s Clinic, Inc. of Mandeville (both are directors).
Louisiana Men’s Clinic is a facility that specializes in the treatment of erectile dysfunction http://louisianamensclinic.com/ while Axcess Medical Clinic appears to be an office complex for physicians owned by the pair.
Two months following Scalise’s address to EURO, Knight was on the Mississippi Gulf Coast representing CCC in its celebration after the Gulfport City Council voted to keep flying the confederate flag.
(That’s Kenny Knight in the middle with the white shirt, brown shorts and white beard.)
Accompanying Knight at that rally was Vincent Breeding, one-time resident of Duke’s home and keeper of the EURO flame as its president while Duke served a federal prison term for fraud and tax evasion.
(Vincent Breeding is on the right wearing the slacks and tie. Kenny Knight is at the far left. And as one reader pointed out, these aren’t Ole Miss frat boys waving the Rebel flag.)
But Breeding, it turns out, had a much darker side. In addition to espousing the virtues of white supremacy, Christian beliefs and conservative values, he hosted an internet website which, in addition to offering graphic pornography, also provided an escort service that catered to all tastes, including black women. That would seem rather difficult to square with the EURO philosophy.
But then Duke himself once published a sexual self-help book for women entitled Finders Keepers under the pseudonym Dorothy Vanderbilt.
In 2003, Breeding was ousted from his leadership role in EURO and was succeeded by Knight but four years later, on Aug. 2, 2007, both Knight and Breeding, along with Barbara Noble, would participate in ribbon-cutting ceremonies for the Ascension Parish Chamber of Commerce.
Breeding, in addition to his porn web page and escort service and his previous employment at a Tampa strip club, once shared an apartment with one Todd Vanbiber who authorities thwarted in his plot to place 14 bombs along two major highways, I-4, the major access route to Walt Disney World, and U.S. 441. The bombings were planned for April 19, 1997, the second anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing.
Another Duke associate, Don Black, was once shot while attempting to steal the mailing list of the National States’ Rights Party. The man who shot him was Jerry Ray, brother of James Earl Ray. Ironically, Black not only survived the gunshot, but later worked closely with Duke through his web page Stormfront and along the way, married Duke’s ex-wife.
Mailing lists, it turns out, constitute the life blood of organizations such as EURO, CCC, and the KKK. It is those mailing lists that allow the leaders of the organizations to solicit funds from those of like minds and it was just such a list that supported Duke’s lavish lifestyle that finally caught up with him.
And it was that same list that was sold to then-gubernatorial candidate Mike Foster in 1995 for $150,000. Foster failed to report the purchase as a campaign expenditure and would become the first Louisiana governor to be fined for violating the state’s code of ethics for elected officials.
But Foster was not the first by any stretch—nor the last—to be linked to such white supremacy groups. Louisiana Congressman John Rarick and Georgia Gov. Lester Maddox both were members of the old White Citizens Council, forerunner to the CCC.
Former Mississippi Supreme Court Chief Justice Kay Cobb addressed CCC on two occasions and Trent Lott five times, once telling its members that they stood “for the right principles and the right philosophy,” only to later claim he had “no idea” what the organization stood for (we’re beginning to detect a trend here). As nice saves go, Senator, not so much.
Lott also spoke at the 100th birthday celebration of Sen. Strom Thurmond of South Carolina, proclaiming that if the rest of the country had followed Mississippi’s lead in voting for the segregationist “Dixiecrat” when he ran for president in 1943, “we wouldn’t have had all these problems over all these years…” When Lott later apologized for his remarks, the CCC labeled him as “little more than a political prostitute.”
Former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour was elected largely on the strength of support from CCC and his photo even appeared with CCC officers on the organization’s website and former Georgia Congressman Bob Barr delivered the keynote speech at the CCC national convention in June of 1998.
Byron De La Beckwith, the man who in 1963 murdered civil rights activist Medgar Evers, was a CCC member as was Charles Sharpe. While serving as South Carolina’s Commissioner of Agriculture, Sharpe was arrested for accepting $20,000 in bribes to protect an illegal cockfighting ring.
And then there is Tony Perkins who, like Lott and Judge Cobb, addressed the Louisiana CCC. His appearance was on May 19, 2001 (almost exactly a year before Scalise’s appearance), when he was serving as a Republican state representative from Baton Rouge. Perkins currently serves as President of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C.
These are only the more prominent public officials who have affiliated themselves with these groups. There are others. http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelligence-report/browse-all-issues/2004/fall/communing-with-the-council
So we have the CCC, EURO, and the KKK, which are pretty much synonymous with their interchangeable memberships, rubbing shoulders with right-wing, family-values politicians who run for cover the moment the glare of public scrutiny is shone upon them. The only thing missing from the picture are the 30 pieces of silver.
All of which must, by necessity, raise this burning question: Is the price of political fraudulence worth the wear and tear on an elected official’s integrity?
I can’t help but wonder if David Vitter made use of Vincent Breeding’s prostitute service after having met him at a EURO/CCC/KKK function where he probably was presenting his “Family Values” principles.
Vincent Breeding was also owned at least two strip clubs, one in Prairieville and one on the NOLA West Bank. Love those family values types.
Kenneth Knight – “a God fearing good Christian man” also currently owns more than one “gentleman’s club.” He proudly states that he cannot be considered racist because he employs “a bunch of black people” at those clubs.
Excellent value system as well, eh?
Just some good ole boys,, “makin’ their way the only way they know how’*.
Too bad, it’s not funny.
*apologies to Waylon Jennings, RIP, and The Dukes of Hazzard
“The gutter is in office.”
That is a nest of some kind of foul critters. I wanted to say snakes but I hate to impute evil to a group already ostracized unnecessarily.
Now am I to understand that these are the same people who seem to have no problem with a greasy SOB in the White House hosting and regularly consulting with a race-baiting, hate-mongering tax cheat?
I assume by your comment that you routinely justify one party’s questionable actions by pointing to others’ misgivings? Now that’s just a brilliant defense, Sparky.
Mr. Aswell: Thank you for a brilliant answer to the continual false equivalencies
You better quit talking about W like that.
They certainly seem to be supreme.
I think the modern-day Republican Party has a sense of superiority over others not within their clique. What Tom is revealing, and is now becoming more common knowledge about the GOP, is the biggest reason I’m glad to have left it two years ago (after 28 years) and also glad to now be a member of the Libertarian Party.
Regarding superiority, let me provide an example of how this comes out even in local-level public meetings. On 9/10/14, EBRP Metro Council Pro Tem Chandler Loup, during a special meeting for the consideration of the termination of the services of Parish Attorney Mary Roper, itemized off a litany of allegations he claimed justified her termination (not working a full day for full salary, numerous DWIs dismissed due to failure to timely prosecute, etc.). He often cited “anonymous sources” having left “packages” at his office. Further, what he alleged was not even the material for which Ms. Roper’s termination was under consideration (that entailed alleged improper distribution of proprietary computer code to her husband in an email).
Well, there has been rampant speculation from the time Loup assumed his position that he has someone in mind that he wants in the Parish Attorney slot, and he was going to find a way to “make it happen.” One of his colleagues on the Council, Chauna Banks-Daniel, openly confronted him on this issue and, since he lodged so many allegations against Ms. Roper, Banks-Daniel decided to make public something she had merely heard (just as I’ve heard the same thing coming from some folk for whom I have the utmost of respect).
Take a look at a video clip of how all that went down: http://youtu.be/2F5jCnZib6A. WOW!! Sure does seem like Mr. Loup, for someone who could throw around loose accusations with little-or-no factual basis, got awfully thin-skinned when a little return fire came back his way.
What’s more shocking is Roper is NOT a public official subject to pop shots if they have no basis in fact, whereas Loup is an elected public official who is supposed to have thicker skin given the position he holds. At a minimum, there are now numerous lawsuits (public records run-around, discrimination/defamation, etc.) now filed (which will cost local taxpayers a fortune in legal fees), including a discrimination/defamation suit filed by Ms. Roper’s husband who is of Arab descent: http://theadvocate.com/news/11019686-123/ropers-husband-sues-city-parish-alleging.
Maybe wrongdoing on the part of Ms. Roper transpired. If so, however, it would seem to me that law enforcement should have handled the matter rather than in-house innuendo which MAY have been fueled by a simple desire for someone else to hold the position. What does come across during the meeting, as exemplified by the video clip above, is that there is a clear superiority mentality on the part of elected Republican officials, trickling down to the EBRP City Council seats. That mentality entails a misguided belief that there’s one set of rules for them (as in being free to lodge allegations against Roper) and another set for the rest of us (as in “Don’t you dare accuse me of wrongdoing in a public meeting.”).
Great post, Tom, and I hope folk realize you’re only scratching the surface of the underbelly of the modern-day Republican Party.
He’s either a racist scumbag or a brain-dead moron. Either way, he has no business being in politics.
Look at all that Super Human purity. Lovely, aren’t they?
Typical Christian Republican fascists, these Christians hate everything our country stands for.
Well done.
“Racist scumbag or brain-dead moron” — are those the only two choices, and are they mutually exclusive?
It seems to me there is another possibility: Perhaps he personally is neither racist nor moronic, but he wishes to advance in the Republican Party, and he believes that seeming to be a moronic, racist scumbag is an advantage in that quest.
Steve Scalise has not broken a law, or else it would seem that the GOP leadership would be acting quickly to pressure him to leave his own Congressional leadership post, but I would hardly say that this case has been wrapped up now and completely closed. There are in fact plenty of loose ends here. I suspect that there’s still a good possibility that evidence could emerge, as we find out more about Kenny Knight, that would make it too difficult for the GOP to keep Steve Scalise in this leadership post.
I wonder why have the the national media refuse to go after Kenneth Knight.
I wholeheartedly agree with you! There is a LOT more to find if someone digs in the right places…fired from NOPD for stealing lumber (with whispers of sleeping with local prostitutes while in uniform), membership in NUMEROUS racist and sexist organizations, owner of strip clubs, owner of more than one narcotics pill mills, and involvement in more lawsuits than anyone who isn’t a lawyer should be involved in (research how many docs from his pill mills he has sued over the years).
Knight’s romantic partner, Barbara Noble, has also been cited in numerous articles. Knight and Noble have been dating for more than 20 years and currently live together in a residence in Prairieville. Noble refers to herself as Knight’s fiancee. Knight has been frequently overheard as referring to Noble as his accountant and/or secretary. Nice guy, huh? I don’t know many people who live with their accountants and/or secretaries…do you?
Knight seems to have a pattern of difficulty with the truth. He stated that he was helping organize a “Jefferson Heights Civic Association” meeting and had no involvement with the hate group EURO. It appears there is no such thing as the Jefferson Heights Civic Association. The organization does not exist. According to the Louisiana secretary of state, the organization has NEVER existed. And as for denying any association with EURO – Knight has actually been listed as the group’s Treasurer and Louisiana State Representative.
In 1999, when Knight attempted to run for Jefferson Parish Council, he went to court in an attempt to prove that he was a resident of Helios Avenue and not Jefferson Heights, where he had claimed a homestead exemption. Both the trial and the appeals courts were unpersuaded by Knight’s argument, but a three-judge panel of the 5th Circuit of Louisiana noted:
It is undisputed that Mr. Knight is registered to vote in the Parish and that he currently sleeps and eats at his girlfriend, Ms. Noble’s, house at 436 Helios Avenue. Clearly 436 Helios Avenue qualifies as a residence. The critical question is whether or not Mr. Knight abandoned his previous permanent residence located at 409 Jefferson Heights with the intent not to return to that residence and thereby transferred his domicile.
The court held that Knight had not “abandoned his previous permanent residence,” primarily because, despite the fact he had moved in with his girlfriend, miles away, he continued to claim a homestead exemption at his old house. A year later, even after the court rejected his change of residency, Knight used the Helios address when he registered as an agent of David Duke’s white nationalist organization.
Tom,
Just a little piling on here, but I wasn’t sure if you had seen one other “civic” group that Kenny Knight was a part of “Friends of the Liberty Monument” which fought in favor of the “white pride” monument in New Orleans. James Gill has an account of this in his book “Lords of Misrule: Mardi Gras and the Politics of Race in New Orleans” on pages 260-270 approx. Here is a picture of the SOS filing for Friends of the Liberty Monument. http://i.imgur.com/TWhaoiB.png
Also interesting that it says that Kenny Knight was an “ex-cop”. Makes one wonder about his actions as an “officer”.
Here’s a little peek into Knight’s actions as an officer of the law:
The NOPD fired Knight in 1973 for stealing lumber from a construction site as an off-duty cop. Knight appealed his firing to the Civil Service Commission. The Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the NOPD decision, overruling Knight’s contention that he was framed by the two police officers who detained him. The judges noted that he told one of the officers he had “copped some lumber.” He was not prosecuted.
Granted we need to ask these questions of our elected “public servants” we need to hold them accountable for their actions, words, and votes. All public servants, not just those of one party. Wake up folks, if you think one party is better than the other you’re wrong. I do question the stone throwers on their hypocrisy. Why no outrage over the fact that the President has met with Al Sharpton well over 50 times. This man is a race baiter, a paid antagonist. I’m sure Mr. Obama was not trying to sway Sharpton’s rhetoric to a more even keeled approach. Unfortunately, this President, Al, Jesse Jackson, and the KKK are more interested in not having a color blind society as it does not advance their plans.
Valid points, if accurate. But I don’t believe Sharpton has gone quite so far as to actually deny the Holocaust ever occurred. That’s a bit over the top.
@sidwit: No your point was that you wanted to throw out a figure on the number of times Al Sharpton may have been in the W.H. or on the grounds when Obama was also there. You were shown that the quoted numbers were not accurate.
Here is a hint: never get your source material from groups like Newsmax or World Nut Daily. They have been consistently proven wrong in their statements once a little research is done.
Where is the supporting documentation to your claim that President Obama has met over 50 times with Al Sharpton? Give us a link (but don’t bother if it is simply something spouted by Rush Limbaugh (or others of his ilk) who uses thinly-veiled racism to promote his own agenda and line his pockets.
If President Obama has met with Sharpton my guess would be that what you say you are sure he was not doing may very well be part of exactly what he was doing.
Like him or not (and I certainly don’t) Al Sharpton derives a lot of power from his advocacy for people whose suffering makes big news stories for him. I have to hope somebody in a position of power is trying to reason with him. Furthermore, linking President Obama with the others in your last sentence is patently unfair and is untrue of him.
Stephen, check this article out:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-checker/wp/2014/12/30/giulianis-claim-the-white-house-invited-al-sharpton-up-to-85-times/
Thanks, Fredster.
So, FACT CHECK, a very reliable source, tags Al Sharpton’s 72 visits to the White House since 2009, based on official records, as follows:
•One-on-one meetings with the POTUS: 5 (7 percent)
•Meetings with staff members or senior advisers, with more than one guest: 20 (27 percent)
•Events with more than 90 people: 16 (22 percent)
•Miscellaneous meetings or events, ranging from 3 to 700 guests: 31 (43 percent)
Is 5 face-to-face meetings with the President too many? I don’t know and I certainly don’t know what was discussed and neither do the people trying to make it look as if there were 50-80 such meetings and that Al Sharpton is President Obama’s “Race Czar”.
Heck, even I have been to the White House on official business, but the closest I ever got to the president was a meeting with his chief of staff along with 10 other people – and note that Sharpton only had 20 such meetings. The rest of his visits were to things that happened to be at the White House and, based on my experience, most of those could have actually happened at the executive office building entered through the White House gate and located next to the West Wing of the White House..
My point is that we should not turn a blind eye towards the Sharpton’s, et al just because they are registered as a democrat. And Tom, just because he hasn’t denied the Holocaust doesn’t mean he isn’t anti-Semite. Go back 20 years to the Crown Height’s riots where a mob killed a Jewish man, a mob incited repeatedly by Sharpton’s chants of “No justice, no peace.” The man who called Jews “white interlopers.” The man who said “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come to my house.” His words incite hatred just like the KKK. And the President has met with him quite a few times. Makes me wonder.
I am not defending Al Sharpton. The manner in which he conducted himself in the Tawana Brawley case is despicable and he deserves no consideration of credibility. He then repeated that performance in the bogus Duke University rape claims. So, if you are looking for me to defend him, you have a while to wait.
But while we can nitpick cases and point the finger at others from now on, I prefer to consider one subject at a time and the subject here is Steve Scalise and the emerging story of his closeness to Kenny Knight (who, incidentally, did not even live in Jefferson Heights at the time of the Scalise speech, so how could he lay claim to having Scalise in to speak to the Jefferson Heights community group?), EURO, Duke, et al.
A couple of familiar patterns have emerged here:
1) Neither Scalise nor Trent Lott seem to have known anything about the group to whom they were speaking—a claim that is completely incomprehensible. During my days of doing stand up comedy, whenever I got a job to speak to a corporate group, I leaned everything about the group before I ever walked up on the stage. And Lott addressed EURO not once, but five times!
2) Another state representative, Tony Perkins, (now head of the Family Forum) spoke to the same group almost exactly a year before Scalise. If he were to respond to calls (which he has not), I’m sure he would have convenient amnesia as well.
Congressman Bob Barr, a chief justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court and other politicians have delivered addresses to EURO or its predecessor the CCC.
If a Democrat affiliated himself with these groups, I would be no less critical.
Why, you may ask, do I take such umbrage at any elected official hob-nobbing with these people?
As a young man, when I was home on military leave, I was solicited by three Klan members in Ruston to recruit KKK members from among my fellow members of the military. My response (echoing what my grandfather said more often than I can remember) was, “Any man who has to hide under a sheet to do his dirty work isn’t a man, he’s a coward.”
Those three men, along with a fourth they picked up, later ran me off the road and threatened to kill me if I ever said something like that again. Afterward, I wrote their names, the date, and their threat on a piece of paper I kept in my wallet until the last of the four had died—just in case I died under suspicious circumstances.
So, you see, with me it’s personal.
No need to get defensive Tom, my point is you can grind up all the democrats and republicans in Congress and possibly get a 25 lb. sack of Ol Roy dog food out of the mix. But it is hypocritical for some to not call a “spade a spade” regardless of color and party. There are lots comments that are extremely one sided and only focused on the “other” party. I was very fortunate being raised on military bases where there was no segregated housing. And my parents treated everyone with respect. Granted we shouldn’t back off Scalise but we shouldn’t give Sharpton, et al a free pass. And Steve, if you have meetings at the White House you are meeting with the President whether he is there or not.
Great post! As usual, you are leading the way with news that may end up in the MSM a few days later, if at all. This info really needs to get out there. Scalise is a disgrace who deserves to be brought down. The key to that happening, as I see it, is exposing his relationship to Kenny Knight, as well as exposing what a low-life Kenny Knight is. If the truth were properly shown, that Knight is a racist, anti Semite, Holocaust denier and Hitler admirer, because that is what Duke is, and Knight was his promoter, Scalise would have to start packing. I am surprised this has not been given the emphasis it deserves, with a few exceptions, like Jason Berry’s piece on-line yesterday.
This story has moved beyond merely the talk at the Landmark Hotel in 2002. And last time I checked, even Palin, Hannity, Krauthammer, Mark Levin and Eric Erickson are speaking out against Scalise.
I agree. If there’s more to the story, particularly as regards there having been a very close relationship between Scalise and Kenny Knight then that’s going to be trouble for the national GOP. Maybe not so much locally but on the national level, a different story.
I do not care much for Al Sharpton myself. He does seem to be an attention seeker and not much more. Some people seem to want to respond to this current story with Steve Scalise, Kenny Knight, EURO et al. by trying to draw an equivalency between it and the supposed relationships that President Obama has had with this or that controversial person such as Sharpton I feel like this, though: while there is the group who steadfastly refuse to believe in anything other than the very worst about Obama, the majority of this country has had ample opportunity over all these years to take a good, thorough look at all that he’s done and everything about him and have still elected him and re-elected him to the nation’s highest office. Quite a different ball game than winning an election to a Congressional seat and in a district which is, like many are these days, pretty well gerrymandered.
SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW SINNERS failed attempt to upstage REPRESENTATIVE JOE SCALISE!
The SPLC supports PRESIDENT OBAMA’s POLITICAL AGENDA, ABORTIONS on DEMAND, LGBT LIFESTYLES, the COMMON CORE CURRICULUM, PROGRESSIVE POLITICS and ISRAEL:
In 2014, the FBI correctly identified the SPLC is a LEFT-WING-NUT GEO-POLITICAL HATE-FILLED PROGRESSIVE ZIONIST ORGANIZATION!
SPLC has really been struggling with regard to IMPROVING its REPUTATION, COLLECTING DONATIONS and STAYING RELEVANT!
The SPLC has definitely out-lived its USAFULNESS!
The GIG is UP, and MORRIS DEES, MARK POTOK and the SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW SINNERS need to GEAUX BYE, BYE! The sooner the BETTER!
The SPLC huffed and puffed but FAILED in their HATEFULL attempt to make REPRESENTATIVE STEVE SCALISE geaux away: https://louisianavoice.com/2015/01/02/as-rep-steve-scalise-story-grows-sordid-details-emerge-about-dark-underside-of-the-white-supremacy-movement/
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION for the ADVANCEMENT of WHITE PEOPLE – 2015
The “Southern Poverty Law Sinners”… “geaux away”, “geaux bye bye”—how clever!
“Hatefull”—bad speller.
Wait, the SPLC supports progressive politics and Israel? How dare they! They should know that only regressive politics is acceptable to Republicans. And that Holocaust thing never happened, right?
Oh, did you know your hero Hitler was one-quarter Jew?
Speaking of staying relevant, how ’bout that NAAWP? I think that name died out some time in the ’80s.
If I’m not mistaken, I believe the FBI also found some other people and organizations to be nut cases, namely Timothy McVeigh and a few other white supremacy types. If you’re going to quote someone or some organization, at least be consistent.
By your rant, you only underscore the very point we’re trying to make in our blog and that is the EURO and NAAWP types are closed-minded bigots who find it impossible to judge a person on what is in his or her heart and mind, choosing instead to be the most superficial of the superficial by allowing your narrow world view to dictate to you that people who look and act differently are somehow inferior.
My suggestion to you is to become a little more civilized and bump that IQ up into double digits before you venture out of the trailer park again…and give your skinned knuckles time to recover from the dragging they’ve been doing all your life.
But before you go, please tell: is “usafulness” an example of being clever or being a bad speller?
I usually follow the rule of never feeding the trolls but I’ll make an exception this time.
You are a poor excuse for a human being.
Reblogged this on The Pardu's Scroll and commented:
Scalised!
Remember anti immigration activist, Shawna Forde, and her filthy little gang, who shot a nice year old girl, begging for her life, in the face, after murdering her father in front of her?
Check out Forde’s connections with every single Republican office holder in the state of Arizona, including Governor Jan Brewer.
This is the Republican Party today — by any definition, a white nationalist hate group.
Get a life.
I came to this site based on posts about the Jindal Administration’s corruption and incompetence. I enjoyed discovering the facts behind the stories only touched on in the normal news media and I felt better informed due to “Louisiana Voice.” Maybe I was wrong.
In a post I did under the article concerning Jindal’s part in a prayer group, I noted that I am saddened by the dishonesty I see running rampant today. My post concerned the Southern Poverty Law Center and it’s recent history of manufacturing hate groups for fund raising purposes and how the FBI no longer considers them a valid resource. It pointed out that numerous liberal publications have editorialized against the SPLC and it’s fund raising. This was an example of how willing groups and individuals are to push their agenda at the cost of honesty and integrity. The SPLC’s honorable and admirable history has been tarnished by dishonesty and partisanship.
What saddens me today is that “Louisiana Voice” is increasingly practicing partisan party politics by equivocating and apologizing for actions of Democrats while only condemning actions of Republicans. That, in my opinion, is unacceptable.
I have been a registered Democrat since I was first eligible to vote and I’m 67 years old today. But I have never voted a party line. The more I look at issues, the more I believe the biggest problem in politics today is both major American political parties. Anyone who takes either party’s “party line” is no longer credible in my opinion. Unfortunately, “Louisiana Voice” has increasingly taken on the Democratic Party’s party line on issues. I am no longer sure it can be trusted to present an honest reporting of the facts. Sadly, I guess it’s time to say farewell.
You’ve received lots of responses to this post. Here’s mine: 1. Did I miss something? Your blog said what about Sharpton, et al? 2. Don’t take it personal? …Whenever your life is threatened? Seriously??? 3. Boo hoo! There you go again, saying bad stuff about the Republicans when everyone knows they’re above reproach. Now I’m going to have to go back and read all your blogs again and count to see how many times you’ve reported dirty deeds committed by each party, And if I find that you’re biased, well… what route do you take while driving home??? I guess I just might have to not read your blog anymore, since it could seriously erode my intellectual comfort zone. 4. Your last paragraph: After recounting the number of gentlemen’s clubs, pornography, and other sleaze, are you talking about lying and talking out of both sides of one’s mouth or referring to “another kind of political prostitution?”
