Well, it’s official now. The folks at the Pentagon, the one bastion of defense that we have to defend us from attack, are bedbug crazy.
Because of Agent Orange, aka Col. Bonespurs, and a couple of white supremists named Musk and Hegseth, the attack on something called DEI has gone completely bonkers, totally devoid of any shred of common sense.
Of course, Pete Hegseth also moved to board up the Office of Net Assessment, the one Pentagon office that helped military leaders plan for future wars. That’s probably because Putin so instructed Bonespurs who was only too happy to oblige.
But back to the clearance sale. Well, not really a sale, but certainly a clearance – of 26,000 military images earmarked for removal thus far.
And get this: a single civilian employee in the Marine Corps is charged with handling its image removals which will probably include Ira Hayes and the Code Talkers before it’s over. More on them later. But first, a little more on America’s new and improved version of apartheid now that IMPOTUS has all the pieces in place.
Let’s take a look at now-verboten individuals and items in the Repugnantcan-controlled House, Senate, Supreme Court and Oval Office across the Potomac in Arlington, Virginia.
First and foremost is Air Force Gen. Charles Q. Brown, ousted as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Fired. Services no longer desired.
Also given a pink slip was Chief of Naval Operations Lisa Franchetti. Need I say more than “Lisa”?
You probably never heard of Harold Gonsalves. He was an African American Marine who was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. Here’s what his citation said:
For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty while serving as acting scout sergeant with the 4th Battalion, 15th Marines, 6th Marine Division, during action against enemy Japanese forces on Okinawa Shima in the Ryukyu Chain, 15 April 1945. Undaunted by the powerfully organized opposition encountered on Motobu Peninsula during the fierce assault waged by his battalion against the Japanese stronghold at Mount Yaetake, Pfc. Gonsalves repeatedly braved the terrific enemy bombardment to aid his forward observation team in directing well-placed artillery fire. When his commanding officer determined to move into the front lines in order to register a more effective bombardment in the enemy’s defensive position, he unhesitatingly advanced uphill with the officer and another marine despite a slashing barrage of enemy mortar and rifle fire. As they reached the front and a Japanese grenade fell close within the group, instantly Pfc. Gonsalves dived on the deadly missile, absorbing the exploding charge in his own body and thereby protecting the others from serious and perhaps fatal wounds. Stouthearted and indomitable, Pfc. Gonsalves readily yielded his own chances of survival that his fellow marines might carry on the relentless battle against a fanatic enemy, and his cool decision, prompt action, and valiant spirit of self-sacrifice in the face of certain death reflect the highest credit upon himself and upon the U.S. Naval Service.
But you can no longer view his photograph or read his citation. The recognition of his action was DEI and no longer allowed in any shape, form or fashion in the hallowed halls of the Pentagon.
Want to hear more DEI removals? How about The Tuskegee Airmen, the first black military pilots in U.S. history? Gone.
Likewise, the Navy cook Doris “Dorie” Miller who, despite a lack of training, manned an anti-aircraft gun during the Pearl Harbor bombing, thus earning the Navy Cross for bravery? The man, a bona fide hero, was killed two years later when his ship was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine. Doesn’t matter. His skin was the wrong color. Officially, his name and his exploits no longer exist.
What about the first women to graduate from Marine infantry training? Weren’t you paying attention earlier? DEI eradication includes all mention of women.
Ever heard of the Enola Gay, the aircraft that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima? Well, you know it has the word “Gay” in its name. Plus, it was named after the pilot’s mother, who was named Gay – a double-whammy in that included that evil word and that she was a woman.
Oh, and there were photographs scattered about that were taken by a photographer named Gay. Out they go.
Now, about this guy named Ira Hays and the Code Talkers. He was an Akimel O’odham Native American who helped raise the flag over Iwo Jima in Worle War II. The flag-raising is depicted in a statue at the Marine Corps War Memorial in Washington. But wait. Hayes was an Injun, which, in the eyes of Donald Trump, must make him something less than human since he ain’t white and of European descent. So, the statue’s gotta go. Or at least Ira’s gonna have to be carved out of the statute.
What about those Navajo Code Talkers, who created an unbreakable code that the Japanese were unable to decipher? Remarkable contribution to the war effort though it was, we’re sorry, but any mention of you has got to be expunged from the record.
Let’s not forget that while Trump denies being a racist, he has surrounded himself with white supremists like Hegseth and Musk, who is a native of South Africa, which gave the world apartheid. We should expect nothing else of the monster who currently occupies the White House. One might legitimately ask if the names of Ivanka, Don, Jr. and Eric will be expunged as well, since they should stand as the ultimate in DEI. The answer, of course, is a resounding NO. They’re white.
This administration is so filled with bigots like Trump, Hegseth and Musk, it’s only a matter of time when the disgusting, demeaning word nigger will be back in vogue and we again send them to the back of the bus. And we can start calling women “broads” again.
