Anyone with half a brain who even occasionally paid attention knew what they were getting by voting for Trump in 2024. To claim otherwise is to admit to being a clueless fool too lazy to get informed. Either way there are no innocents. Support of Trump after 2016 is a betrayal of everything the Founding Fathers hoped and dreamed for America. Support of Trump in 2026 is fascism, nor is it necessary or even worth the effort to lay out the argument. At this point it is plain and obvious to any intellectually honest person and those who would argue the point do so from an alternate reality created through willful ignorance and intellectual dishonesty. Attempting to engage them on their own terms only legitimizes their alternate reality. MAGA fascism and MAGA fascists are the root cause of our inability to resolve or even address issues and everyone who voted for it – everyone! – is responsible. Of course liberals aren’t perfect. Even Democrats disagree with what other Democrats want to do. But selling out to fascism in order to maintain and/or elevate political opposition is morally, ethically, intellectually, ideologically, and spiritually bankrupt. Without justification or any redeeming value. And if it isn’t dealt with permanently it will continue to degrade, corrupt, and poison everything it touches until there is nothing left of America that isn’t dying from it.
