There can be little doubt remaining that Cankle Ankles Trump is at best, mentally ill and unfit to hold any public office, least of all POTUS. At worst, he’s a hate-mongering, race-baiting, bigoted symbol of racism born of the twin philosophies of the KKK and Nazism.
His devout followers accuse his opponents of suffering from something called TDS, for Trump Derangement Syndrome. I suggest it is they who are afflicted with his malady for their blind loyalty to a man who stands for everything single value we as a nation claim to despise.
I’m not going to go down a list of things Trump has said and done. For those who are not too lazy or too fervent, they can do their own research; the evidence is easy enough to find.
Instead, I’m going to state unequivocally that this petty, small-minded man is consumed by something called ODS (Obama Derangement Syndrome).
Ever since April 2011, when Obama responded to Trump’s persistent birther claims in a SCATHING SEND-UP of an incredibly thin-skinned Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, he has carried a deep grudge that is both personal and vitriolic—and certainly far beyond reasonable and unbefitting a world leader.
What’s the point of all this? Check out these stories for his latest display of dog-whistle calls to his redneck base that should he make the call (again), would respond in a manner that would make Jan. 6, 2021 look like a Presbyterian prayer meeting:
Trump slammed as ‘incredibly racist’ after posting clip of Obamas as monkeys in ‘disgusting’ rampage
And there is also this:
Trump’s Racist Attack on the Obamas Shows the Moral Collapse of His Presidency
Thom Hartmann may be a little off in his description of a “moral collapse” of Trump’s presidency because that would assume it ever possessed any morals to begin with—and it certainly did not from his very first day in office way back in 2017.
Still, this latest stunt is obviously something that Trump—and Stephen Miller—must’ve thought would make a hilarious joke.
Instead, it is a slap in the face of everything that’s decent, law-abiding, and respectable. None of those attributes can be affixed to Trump or anyone around him.
This is simply intolerable and we must—we MUST—make our voices heard. Please contact your congressional representatives, particularly Sens. Cassidy and Kennedy. They don’t possess the integrity or courage to dare criticize their leader, but they MUST know how we feel about this.
Here is the contact information for each:

This Trump post is an OUTRAGE! It screams of bigotry, racism, and hate-mongering, which leads to violence against those he hates. And he’s the president of the United States. I can’t bring myself to capitalize the “P” in president because he has brought the position down to its lowest level ever. There is no low too low for Donald Trump. Every person, especially our Congress members, Louisiana legislators and governor should be calling out this blatant racism!!!!!!!!!!! But will they? If they don’t, you can decide what it says about them. I already have my opinion. Every Christian leader should be shouting from the pulpit that this is wrong. But will they? Sadly, I’m not expecting that to happen either. So what does that say about those of us who call ourselves Christians? I know what it says to me.
Americans must speak out against this kind of behavior. If we don’t, we are allowing this hate to continue, and we’ll reap those consequences. This is not about Republican or Democrat; right or left. It’s about good and evil; right and wrong; following the teachings of Jesus or not; decency and respect for our fellow man.
What will we do???????????????????????? It’s on our shoulders.
It does NO good to waste time contacting our Congressional delegation. I have stopped doing so. In some cases I got no response. In others, I got cut-and-paste responses that often did not even come close to being responsive to the subject of my messages. I also don’t call their offices because I imagine the smirks on the faces of their aides as they brush off anything not applauding their bosses. Just as there is no way we can sway citizen MAGAs to face simple, in-your-face realities about Trump, most Republicans or anybody or anything else, we mullets have ZERO influence with our ostensible voices in D. C. The zone has been so flooded with utterly outrageous actions by President Trump and, with virtually no attempts to exercise their authorities to stop them, the legislative and judicial branches might as well no longer exist. Cynical? absolutely. We bear even greater responsibility when we do not VOTE. Some might consider it a joke that we may, in the near future, no longer have the unfettered ability to do so, but the joke is going to be squarely on those of us who did not vote in 2016, 2020, or 2025 because We lost all those elections if you think about it and if King Donald gets his way about 2020 we will have lost it directly. Think and act, but give up on attempting to convey anything not MAGA to your elected officials, including the only 2 in Congress who represent my beliefs. VOTE while you still can, or sit back and let the bullies run our country. If you are a MAGA, of course, that’s exactly what you want.
P. S. If you disagree with me about the extent to which your members of Congress care about your loyal opposition, answer this easily-answered, simple question: Why have so many members of Congress stopped having town hall meetings?
Mr. Winham,
I absolutely agree that our Congressional delegation as well as Louisiana’s own legislators are not responsive. I get no response from 99.9% of them. I get Julia Letlow’s standard “it is an honor to serve…” From Cassidy, I get a completely off the subject response. I call their offices and voice my opinion, whether they like it or not. They represent me as well as all those Trump and MAGA supporters, so they need to hear from me too. It is very frustrating, but I declare, I will not stop sending them with my emails or phone calls or voicing my opinion. We cannot stop even though it seems useless. Hopefully at some point, before it’s too late, people will wake up and see the truth of this administration. I have participated in a No Kings protest, a gathering to protest the senseless killing and terrorizing of people by ICE, and a protest against Mike Johnson, and plan to do more I’m not violent by any means and do not plan to participate in violence, but we have to stand up for what is right, for human decency, and for democracy.
We must stay strong and stand.
