The creation of DHS was flawed from the get go, an ill-considered reaction to 9/11. Abolishing federal agencies of any size is next to impossible. I have read that Reagan, for all of his talk about downsizing government, succeeded in getting rid of one program, which cost less than $100,000/year. Getting rid of DHS? Probably better to try to neuter it or redirect its mission through reorganization. Dh

Trump supporting MAGA fascists do not believe in democracy, the Constitution, rights and liberties or any of the principles this nation was founded on. Trump supporting MAGA fascists believe they are entitled to wallow in their ignorant prejudices and that is the ONLY thing Trump supporting MAGA fascists believe. They might call themselves “Republican” or “Christian” but they are neither. They are fascists. They may say they believe in the rule of law and the Constitution but they don’t. They believe law exists to protect and reward themselves and to bind and punish everyone else. The ignorance and utter moral and ideological bankruptcy of MAGA fascism is the root cause of every problem in America. Rid the nation and the world of MAGA fascists and the rest of us could resolve most of our issues within a couple of election cycles. MAGA fascism is the sludge at the bottom of the human sewer and MAGA fascists are what crawls out of it.
