We tried. We honestly did. We took a day off from monitoring the number of days John Kennedy has gone without meeting face-to-face with the folks back home in one of those town hall meetings.
You see, we were kind of curious if he paid for his visit to Honey Brake Hunting Lodge up near Jonesville or was it comped or did someone else pay for him.
And if it was comped or someone else picked up the tab, did he report it as required?

Honey Brake Hunting Lodge
So, we asked him that. We gave him an extra day to respond.
Crickets.
Nada.
Zilch.
Not so much as a homey bromide.
You’d think he’d respond to a legitimate question.
I guess not.

You should have asked Senator Pudgy Hands if he removed the tags from his hunting clothing.
He probably couldn’t, since he had to take ’em back to Bass Pro after the photo op.
Answer a question? From constituents? With no cameras in sight? You expect too much from a senator!!!
He’s probably afraid he’ll get an ear full of complaints from his constituents regarding what is going on in the mad house in Washington.
A penny saved is a penny earned?
He doesn’t have to report it. There are no ethics in Congress, or Louisiana, for that matter. When you call him, no one ever answers. The voicemail says they are talking with other constituents, but I don’t know anyone who has ever gotten through to his office. Not sure where he is.
Tell him there will be press there. Never met a camera he didn’t like
