“Oh Lord it’s hard to be humble
When you’re perfect in every way.”
Mac Davis
Its amazing how nonchalant our representatives are when it comes to holding other government employees accountable. I joined the state police because it was the Premier Law Enforcement Agency in the state. It represented a higher standard and was not beholding to any other law enforcement agency. Since Colonel Whittington’s tenure, all that has changed and I only see an agency that is replete with good old boys whose sense of power and greed blind them to any standards of conduct or justice . Mike was and is a disappointment and needs to retire for the good of the department…Under his watch, ethical and moral standards have declined, enforcement of judicial standards are none existent or inconsistently administered, and departmental trust severely diminished. These so called judicial watch dogs can laugh, slap each other on the back and way what a good job they’re doing, but their conduct only condones what is transpiring around them. Louisiana is last in nearly all categories in the nation and the reason for that is influenced by the conduct of our elected representatives. Louisiana has lost one of the few good things that existed in our state, and the void may never be filled.
