“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex.”
—President Dwight D. Eisenhower, in his Jan. 17, 1961 Farewell Address.
“The best way for America to lead … is for America to rebuild our tools of hard power.”
—Gov. Bobby Jindal, speaking at, of all things, a Foreign Policy Initiative at a Wall Street Journal CEO Council’s meeting on Dec. 3rd.

How ironic Jindal’s remark is. He has ever been a destroyer, NEVER a builder of anything but his presidential campaign coffers and his ego. He has certainly destroyed LA.
How interesting it is that Ike is probably the best example of a progenitor for building the military-industrial complex.
So totally predictable. What a dolt.
