“I do not believe we should punish people for working, and certainly do not believe teachers and state workers in Louisiana should be singled out for penalty.”
“These men and women (state employees) work incredibly hard to ensure a bright future for our state and our children.”
“I strongly believe that we must support these workers in their efforts.”
“Any statements to the contrary are simply false.”
–Campaign promises made by Gov. Bobby Jindal in a 2007 campaign brochure.

Folks with Jindal recall petition will be at the Capitol tomorrow during the day. I heard there will be a sign.
I hope all state workers know that they are allowed to sign this petition. It is not against the rules to sign a recall petition against the governor. I’ve heard some state workers state they are unsure about this. I fear many won’t sign b/c they think it’s against the rules. I will be signing it tomorrow at the Capitol.
This should be said at the JUDGMENT DAY RALLY tomorrow.
While state workers can sign, they can NOT solicit signatures.
I sent this same information out last week and again today. I was unable to attend today’s rally because of the weather.
The governor and his backers MUST answer to the people ASAP. To say he cares about this state and yet to continue to do as he does is pure mockery. He is throwing the chidren and the state under the bus. We need to do everything in our power to stop this NOW!
