“It was the cleanest science equipment I had ever seen in my 21 years as a science teacher. I speculate lack of use kept them so clean. And this was in the science lab that all teachers go to for experiments.”
—Educational consultant Robert Daigle, after finding lab materials still boxed, with most of the instruments still packed and sealed after two years sitting at Abramson Science & Technology Charter School in New Orleans.

At least the equipment was on site, unlike some school in north Louisiana which gets equipment at the state’s expense!! Maybe this science equipment could be better used at another school–or, maybe it should be autioned off and the money sent to another parish! Where are the supervisors???
Finally someone has brought this to light. I would encourage everyone to listen to this and excuse the visuals. But I am certain that we can all agree that there some strong similarities with my story and others.

Why else would Dr. Shirl Gilbert be told not to do his job? Why else would Mr. Dunbar be fired and his immediate supervisor quit? Look deeper Louisiana! Behaviors not words speak louder. I also understand these teachers who spoke out would want to remain anonymous. I have been threatened for bringing this to the public three times and have had several subsequent threats. Too bad I do not have the personality that takes kindly to that. Speak out tell your story as long as the public hears! Nobody should be in fear of an employer, the government or some cult. Hold them responsible! This includes government officials who we trusted and who sold us out. Dunbar’s firing in my opinion was an admission of guilt on their part!
Think about this. We are only hearing about 10% that have hit the media. Imagine the rest of the story. Let Louisiana lead the rest of the country by showing that it is okay to fight back and tell your story. Make them and your politicians and the department of education accountable!
