The Supreme Court has given us the astounding “principle” the majority has no race so that majority-majority districts are “colorblind” while minority-majority districts are an illegal racial gerrymander. That MAGA fascism is supported almost entirely by white people and black people generally support Democrats are just coincidental oddities and not to be considered alongside falsified DOJ data in determining a ruling. That every southern state has immediately reverted to Jim Crow era practices is also just a coincidence. Interesting, too, the principle of protecting minority representation is enshrined in the Constitution by virtue of the Electoral College and MAGA fascists love to cite the necessity of protecting minority representation. But only when they can claim it for themselves to put someone in the White House who lost the majority of votes in America. Never for other people and especially not for black people. Just one more descent into the utter racist hypocrisy of MAGA fascism.
