SCOTUS, Aka Supreme Court of Trump’s United States
When the Supreme Court says that Democratic gains are unconstitutional because they are race based but “Republican” redraws have “no racial element” and are therefore legal what the Court is saying is that to be a Democrat is to be guilty of racial discrimination – to be unconstitutional. With legal “reasoning” such as that the fascist on the Court intend to remake America into a Christian Nationalist/White Supremacist nation one ruling at a time. That’s the only reason they sometimes check Trump. Trump would go full authoritarian and shred the Constitution in a heartbeat. But Alito, Thomas, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, Barrett and Roberts need the pretense of redefining words and concepts so they can find unlimited executive power for Trump in a Constitution written by men who just fought a revolution to free themselves from one person with unlimited executive power. Or to find unconstitutional race-based motives in protecting the rights of minorities, but no racial element to policies that limit, dilute, or inhibit the rights of minorities. The Court fully intends to aid the fascists. But they think they can avoid chaos by redefining the English language first. This should highlight a priority for Democrats if they survive everything the fascists will attempt to steal or discredit the midterms. A corrupted Supreme Court must be addressed. Pack it, stack it, put an age limit on it, or force retirement. I don’t care which. Just as long as the MAGA fascists on the court can no longer achieve a majority. If we can’t find a political means to halt MAGA fascism in its tracks the other options only get worse.
As I heard someone say, what is the difference between partisan discrimination and racial discrimination?? Partisan is okay because it benefits Republicans. Disgusting situation. And then Landry postpones specific elections to ensure this “partisan Republican party” will win. How blatant is that??
