A couple of State Senate votes Louisiana citizens should find interesting:
SB 7, aka the first step toward book censorship, a favorite ploy of a fascist government: https://www.legis.la.gov/legis/ViewDocument.aspx?d=1322126
SB 149, to increase the minimum wage, which has not been increased since 2008, while CEO pay has increased 1,460% since 1978 and while the CEO-to-worker pay ratio reached a new high of 399-to-1 in 2021 (372-to-1 before the pandemic), compared to the 20-to-1 ratio in 1965:

You get the government you deserve.

Honestly, the whole “Repuglican” thing is a huge tell that you aren’t any type of real journalist. Seriously, it’s a 9th grader type thing.
And just so you know, we call Democrats Democ**ts.
So you’re going to resort to the same tactic that you call me out for being 9th grade for. Beautiful. And yet….and yet, when the great orange Trumpkin employs his cute nicknames for opponents, that is somehow considered acceptable? Or when veterans are deprived benefits, when the elderly are threatened with reduction or removal of Social Security and Medicare benefits, when citizens are denied voting rights, when hungry children are deprived food, when the sick are denied healthcare, when the 2nd Amendment becomes more important than the 1st Amendment, when guns become more important than children’s lives, when corporations and the wealthy continue to reap huge tax benefits, i.e. “corporate welfare” even as “the least of my brethren” are ignored, when people like MTG, Matt Gaetz, and Clay Higgins are put in charge, and when we just keep feeding the military-industrial complex, all that is considered leadership? I think I get your drift.
But to be truthful, I only call them that because “Rethuglican” or “Fascist” seems a tad harsh, accurate though it certainly is.
But the bottom line is, I don’t really give a damn what you think.
And just so you know, I am a recovering Republican, having spent more than 35 years in the party until I got out when the thugs took over.
And when I post something, I’m not afraid to use my real name.
