John Kennedy, I’m going to make this short and direct:
A person has died in the U.S. Capitol, and it’s on you.
Those who participated in the riot that resulted on a woman’s death are not representatives of Antifa. They aren’t Black Lives Matter proponents. They’re Trump’s thugs, his Proud Boys, rioting in the name of law and order. What a joke. Except it ain’t funny.
And It’s on you, it’s on Steve Scalise, it’s on Mike Johnson, and it’s on Clay Higgins. But most of all, it’s on you, John N. Kennedy.
And it’s certainly on your mentor, Donald John Trump, who has goaded his mindless followers into this insurrection, this invasion of what is supposed to be the pillar of democracy. Joe Biden called it “an assault on the citadel of liberty.”
He’s correct.
Mitt Romney said if you do not walk away from your challenge in light of today’s events, you are complicit in that anarchy, in that act of sedition.
He, too, is correct.
Let’s be clear and make no mistake about it. It’s on you, John N. Kennedy, Steve Scalise, Mike Johnson and Clay Higgins.
It’s on you for enabling him for the past four years and for your decision to support a tyrant over the principles of freedom and democracy in your ill-advised decision to join in the effort to challenge the results of a legal election in which absolutely no evidence of fraud has been presented.

All of these protesters who have stormed the Capitol should be arrested and charged with insurrection. Then trump should be arrested for inciting this riot, preferably to be taken away in a straight jacket. This was all so predictable and yet avoidable. Lock them all up!

Yes, this insurrection is ALL on Sen. Kennedy…but, the rest of our Louisiana Delegation who blindly and arrogantly supported Trump and Trumpism for the past 4 years are also totally to blame. How dare they even attempt to distance themselves from this. Why don’t they clap and cheer and claim how unfair and illegal the Biden election was? Why are they cowering, hunkered down in some same space and not welcoming these insurrectionists with open arms? Trump would be so pleased with them? This is exactly where Trump told them he wanted to go and the reason that the ALL agreed to challenge the Electoral College votes. Any Senator who fully backed Trump needs to start fresh and move the country to the center and serve all Americans equal. There are hundreds of sworn affidavits of people reporting voter fraud. Just saying there is no evidence over and over again doesn’t make it true. The evidence needs to be heard. Ignoring it will just keep doubt in people’s minds. As far as today’s protest turning into a full scale assault, there is no way this kind of action can be allowed to happen. I am glad that the National Guard and FBI are being used to help the local police maintain order. I just wish the same kind of response would have been used to protect private businesses during all the BLM riots.
No, just saying there is no evidence over and over doesn’t make it true – any more than saying over and over the election was rigged makes it true. But the reason we say there has been no evidence is because no evidence has been presented. There have been 50 court cases thrown out because of… a lack of evidence. If there is evidence of voter fraud, please someone come forward with it. Otherwise, I will keep saying there is no evidence. If anyone had evidence or proof of fraud, it would have been presented long before now.
“The evidence needs to be heard.” Where is it? It has had many opportunities to be presented in court and elsewhere.
That “evidence” can easily be located at Newsmax, Breitbart, Infowars and a whole host of Facebook pages. Which is surely why it has failed in every courtroom that has been presented with any of it. The minimum criteria for evidence is what plagues these folks. There’s miles of space between what it takes to propagate a “stolen election” conspiracy theory, versus what it takes to prove it in court.
So, Michael, go look for the evidence that those conspiracy rags keep reporting on, but never reveal.
I don’t know whether Putin ever actually laughs, but he has to be smiling into his borscht (or caviar) as he sees what a great job his top tool in the U. S. has done for him and how he has used people like Kornpone, Scalise, Higgins and others. They should all be ashamed, but I fear they have long since lost the ability to be and none of them will ever admit culpability for the embarrassing and disgraceful riots today that were only intended to overturn a free and fair election – the very essence of our representative democracy. As for asset #1, he is reveling in it.

Well it’s official. He voted for the coup.
I just called the DC offices of Cassidy, Kennedy, Scalise and Graves and asked that they either take actions to have Trump impeached and removed from office or encourage the use of the 25th Amendment to give Trump his wish, to be remembered in history -for being the first and only president removed from office. Pence called in National Guard to protect DC while Trump tried to have it burned down. Let Pence be President for next 13 days and put Trump on trial for Treason.
I think that John and his cohorts should start their own political party. They could call it the Gutless Eunuch Party since Trump has their balls and won’t give them back any time soon. He is a shame to his office, his party and his country.

And who was it on when Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioted and burned stores of innocent people and destroyed federal property and statues in 2020 in cities across America? Your Democrat elites called that peaceful protests. Democrat mayors continued to let it happen while President Trump wanted to send in help to quell the insurrections. I don’t condone that behavior or what happened in DC, but the elites in Washington only complain when it happens to them! Think again, Tom, it’s the Democrat party leaders and media that have caused the problems in our country with their desire for power. They hate President Trump because he has called them out for their evil, underhanded plots. He did not cause that destruction to the Capitol building. True peaceful Trump supporters had nothing to gain by such an act. And the infiltrators in that crowd will be identified and prosecuted.
No one’s giving them a pass. Thugs are thugs, no matter which philosophy they espouse, but Kennedy is an elected official who has chosen to defend Trump rather than the Constitution, to pander to mouth-breathing maniacs instead of the rule of law, to ignore 50 court decisions (some by Trump-appointed judges) in favor of grandstanding. That’s the difference.
And I beg to differ: Trump most certainly did cause the riots in D.C. Who else told them to go there, that he would be there with them? Just how do you know the rioters were infiltrators? You’re perpetuating the misinformation campaign that has already started to exonerate the delusional MAGA sheeple.
And if you think Democrats are the only ones with an agenda for power, you have blinders on. Yes, Trump wanted to call out the National Guard in those cities but he certainly didn’t yesterday, did he? In fact, he at first flat-out refused. You can’t defend the tangerine toddler on this one. He bears 100% of the responsibility on this – even Republicans are saying that.
I am disappointed that the majority of the LA Congressional class oppose democracy. No matter how anyone attempts to characterize the storming of the Capitol last week, the actions of the rioters were treasonous and a betrayal of their commitment as citizens to the Constitution. Can’t dress up that pig no matter how much lipstick is applied.
I am curious as to the type of government that the LA Republican Congressmen want to replace democracy. The only thing I see is installing Donald Trump as dictator. That is the practical outcome if a duly certified election is overturned. I understand that almost 60% of LA voters supported Trump, so it may be that the majority of the citizens of this State support a dictatorship.
