I avoid FOX, so their position is a big surprise to me. However, it is too little and too late…they have helped to grow and empower “Monster President Trump”. I am at the point that I begin to feel physically sick listening to the “pollsters” jerk me around about who will win Florida, Texas, N. Carolina, Michigan, Pennsylvania and how “close” Trump is. If Biden wins early by a landslide, I think I will just fire all of the Cable News Networks and watch Spongebob….Also….I HATE Daylight Savings Time!
Maybe we will finally get rid of the worthless time changes since that is one of many things we are now fed up with, including the equally worthless Electoral College, and, for over half of us, the evil clown party running our government. Personally, I would prefer we simply stay on DST because I like more daylight at the end of the day, but I would be happier either way if we just stopped switching.
We are in the final laps of this race. I have Biden winning the Electoral College by a slim margin in my projection. Others have him winning big there and, of course, 40-45% of the population have him losing. In any case, if there is another disparity between the popular vote (to the extent Dear Leader has not totally destroyed all confidence in it) and the E. C., maybe we can finally get rid of it and the time change. With any luck we can MANA, or at least come as close to normality as we can.
P. S. The Trump caravan surrounding and forcing the Biden van off the road in Texas* was something to be expected in our times and not nearly as bad, per se, as the fact Dear Leader applauded it. Nobody is going to change anybody’s mind at this point, but this is something I would really like one of you to come on here and defend.

I concur….get rid of two very unnecessary and destructive American things….changing time (really?) and not letting every vote count in electing our president! It really is sobering to know that Louisiana votes for President are almost meaningless..now, how do we proceed?
Well, here’s the latest information on the status of Daylight Savings Time. As usual, while it has been in Congress for quite some time, nothing has happened even though the President has said he would sign it!

Louisiana passed a law in June to stay on Daylight Savings Time if and when it is approved by Congress. Oddly (or not) it is okay for a state (like Arizona) to opt to stay on regular time, but it states are not authorized to stay on Daylight Savings Time and Congress has drug its feet authorizing it.
