And Cliff, not to leave you out with no response…..I know of several people who were denied advancement because of affirmative action. I AM fed up with tax dollars being wasted on incentive programs like Solyndra Corp. or things like that. I am upset when we spend a Trillion Dollars on “shovel ready” jobs that do not exist and have zero to show for it. I am upset that our government, under Bush, Obama, and Trump have spent Trillions ie. deficit spending as though this money exists. What will be the end result of this behavior ? When someone asked our Speaker of the House about deficit spending, her remark was “So” !
I am upset that elected officials do nothing to quell riots and vandalism and have the audacity to ask Congress to pay for their ineptness.
Gun ownership is a “right” under our Constitution, not a privilege. We do not so much need to regulate gun owners, but to punish those who illegally use weapons or are irresponsible. It is not NRA members out there shooting up cities.
Nothing is wrong with affordable health care. There was plenty wrong with the “Affordable Health Care Act” which was declared a tax, and not a health care law by the Supreme Court, making it legal. Our government should not be able to tell us to buy anything. I would hope we all can agree to that. The goal of the law was to make everyone have insurance and if they could not “afford” it would be paid for by taxpayers.via a subsidy.
And of course, nothing is wrong with a decent wage. A wage should be earned. In a capitalist society, one trades skills or labor for equal value in wage. Minimum wage (I assume that is what you are referring to ) is not intended to be a career wage or a living wage/ No One should aspire to working for minimum wage. One should obtain skills to sell.If you were to set a minimum wage of $25,000 that would simply inflate the poverty level to $25,000. That is basic economics.
I cannot imagine that he really felt blessed to become infected. I cannot see why you democrats blame Trump for a virus that is beyond any human control. No one blamed Obama when 65+Million were infected with swine flu (versus 7 Million with Covid19). Obama’s own people have recently publicly stated that they did a horrible job with control of that virus (In fact, Obama Administration quit testing for virus because numbers were so great) Thank God Swine flu was not as lethal as Covid19. And there will be a Covid20. So Biden saying he could do a “better” job is not supported by the facts. And having treated some of these people, certainly they do not feel blessed. But I ask you Cliff, why is this a political issue this time ? And I hope we do not shut down country every time there is a virus outbreak.

As for gun control and the NRA, I agree with you on most of your points. However, why does a NRA member or any legitimate gun owner need a cache of weapons?
