A little change in format today.
There certainly is no shortage of priceless quotes from the most moronic president in the history of this country and I’m building an interesting backlog for inclusion here.
But today, I’m just going to attach a Youtube clip from The Young Turks, a male-female duo who offer a series of frighteningly hilarious observations on Donald Trump.
The essence of this clip is to provide you with a handful of Trump’s most puzzling/amusing/embarrassing utterances in the form of a “contest” to pick the most absurd quote.
To view the clip and to review the seven finalist quotes, go HERE.
(Spoiler alert: My personal favorite is the stealth bomber that you “literally” can’t see.)
OK….we are actually talking about the President of these United States here. It is all true. He has been captured on tape and recorded for infinity….no lying about this…now, the problem is that even with the clear evidence, his followers simply do not care. When we discover why they don’t care, perhaps we can start to fix things. No one in their “right mind” would EVER follow this sick, old White man anywhere…..ANYWHERE…
Edith, you don’t understand. Just as the stealth fighter is invisible and evidently silent, the trumpsters don’t see or hear these comments.
Or, worse, they like these things because so many of them are just like him.
You guys are not helping my blood pressure. If folks can reason what is on sale at Walmart and where to go to get the best beer, then they can understand when Trump is spitting in the wind….the only thing I can figure is that they also have these wild, insane ideas about reality and love Trump because he can say “what he thinks” even if it shows that he is crazy and get away with it. This is so long and convoluted that it is just depressing….like the 50 something White guy with the huge beard and handlebar mustache who was the only one out of about 30 people in the tire shop not wearing a mask…maybe he thought his face fuzz was a filter???? End of Rant
Clifford,
” invisible and evidently silent” describes quite a few Trump followers who will not readily admit their adoration for Trump. I believe that this is the “silent majority” Trump referred to in a recent speech. Given our flawed way of electing presidents, this particular group may make all the difference come Nov–underestimate them at your own risk.
That scares me, also.
Right on! The reasons for the adoration don’t really matter. The fact it exists and is Teflon coated does. I have no hope whatsoever 40% of the electorate will not vote for Trump no matter what. Only 5-8 percent of the electorate are on the fence. They are our only hope for a sound defeat.
Edith, what is it with you and “sick old White man.” That describes Joe to a “T”., and that is who you are voting for.
OH, What is “flawed” about our system ? It has worked just fine for almost 250 years. System makes every state important. Got Obama elected.
And Stephen, about 40% are Trump people, about 40% are hard core democrat. The rest make the difference. If you expect a senile man to run a campaign by staying out of the public eye with a vice-president running mate that could not excite more than 3% of the democrats in the primary’s, you must be delusional. The USA is not ready for what the Democrat Party is proposing – socialism, Green energy, higher taxes, free abortion, anarchy etc. That is what you are running against, not Trump.
No doubt Trump has said some stupid stuff. So has Joe Biden. So has Kamala. So what ? It is what they have done that makes the difference. Joe has held political office for over 40 years – and what has he done ? Zip. (You can see what Trump has done in three). Do you really believe that Joe will change in the next 4 years and actually do something ?
Your political views are based on personality, not result oriented. I do not have to like or even endorse what Trump says, but I endorse where he has taken this country. Many (not you guys because you will never admit it) people would say Obama was the most divisive President we have ever had. I had hoped for more from him, but that was not his agenda. This sums up pretty much my point (which I assume you guys will all disagree)but here it is

That is where democrats have taken us.
It will be interesting to see what part of the district she will move to, if elected. She could always move into one of Jared “Slumlord” Kushner’s properties. In that he owns a lot of those rat infested units in that district. I wonder what her husband thinks about moving there? Zoe, the scenes that were shown in the video can be found in any major city in this country, including Baton Rouge. People who couldn’t afford to their property taxes on their homes lose their property at tax sales to slumlords like Kushner. Local corner stores can’t survive and they are boarded up. There is little a congressman/woman can do to improve blighted areas in their district. It’s incumbent on the local communities, both government and business, to work together to remedy that problem. As for slumlords like Kushner, they do just enough to make their properties livable within local codes. Some like Kushner, have multiple citations for violations of local codes. The most blighted areas of south and north Baton Rouge are represented in Congress by Cedric Richmond. The outcry about the blight in those areas are not directed at him, but at the politicians at the local level.
Zoe, here’s one for you to chew on:

Now reconcile your undying loyalty to Trump and his affection for QAnon, one of the most “out there” fringe groups going. If you can spin this into a positive, then you’re part of the problem.
DJ, am I supposed to defend or attack QANON ? I am not familiar with group, but will do a little searching.
I read those posts. So what ? Trump said he had heard of them, was not real familiar but had heard that they liked him and he appreciated their support. Obama liked support of the Black Panthers. So what ?
Why don’t you defend the Democrat platform for all the readers to see because if you are fighting for a change, let’s see what it is? Whether you like or dislike Trump, his party is more in tune with a large segment of this country (taxpayers). What exactly are you supporting other than a dislike of Trump ? Open borders, payment of benefits to non-citizens ? Free abortion for all (I bet you have never witnessed a procedure). No support for 1st or 2nd amendment ? Socialism ? Free health care and no private insurance ? Higher taxes ? Anti-energy industry ? anarchy ? Paying for the defense of the world ?Funding the useless United Nations? Never ending wars (Obama started or was involved in 7, Trump started none). Weak national defense? Defunding police ? Destruction of private property ? Hatred of country founding fathers ? Sudden hatred of Confederates? Support of open Marxist groups like Antifa of BLM ?
Let’s chew on that, which would be a far more intellectual argument than the morals of Trump, Biden, Harris or the scruples of Obama. You apparently cannot comprehend that people support Trump for what he does, not his personality. Joe Biden, for example seems like a nice guy although he clearly is senile and has a history of corruption and lying. Kamala Harris is sleazy and basically a prostitute. Support them if you wish. You will get the quality of government you deserve because they are all so far left you will not recognize America if they had their way. Sociologists instead of police. And Edith, who dislikes “sick old white man” wants a senile older white man to take his place. Really!!!
You really are an idiot.
And you have a wonderful day as well.
