M. F. Trump does not have the legal power to do this and there isn’t even a way his enablers in Congress can help him -somebody correct me if I’m wrong. On the other hand, when has the law stopped him?

This isn’t the first (or second) time he’s suggested that term limits shouldn’t apply to him. I wonder if he thinks that he’d somehow be more successful than the other failed idiots that have attempted to harness “the mob” throughout history to achieve their personal ambitions. History has show that mob rule is fickle and unpredictable… but he’d have to actually read something academic to learn about that.

Does it matter that he does not have “legal” power? The attorney general of the United States did not seem to know that it is not legal to solicit or accept foreign assistance in an election. The most he could muster, when pressed, was that it was not appropriate.
If trump wants to see people in the streets protesting, try to delay the election. There are not enough stormtroopers – mercenaries – to hold back the wave of people who would be out 24/7 if necessary, to make their voices heard. I was in Washington, DC for the Women’s March the day after inauguration – before the lawlessness and outrage had even begun – it made New Orleans on Mardi Gras look like an intimate gathering. He sent up a test balloon that has already burst.
