Citizens should just stop and take a deep breath. There must be a required class in Locker Room 101 for the come backs on social media. There is no need. Covid is real. People are hurting. What is the rush? Not to sit in traffic or in check out lines. Think about the people who have life needs-not wants. How can we assist? We have suffered and survived hurricanes, floods, and politicians. Take a deep breath, pray. Yes, much action is needed and it is not in the form of tweets, text, or post. Each of us has a talent that can make our community, our Louisiana, and our United States what it can be for all citizens.
1. When I saw that Rush quote earlier I thought to myself – what better person for a Medal of Freedom Medal from this President than this total and complete a-hole propagandist who is paid (last time I checked) $70+ million per year to put out his blather to people who will not individually earn that amount of money in 8 lifetimes?
2. I believe the President may be misjudging who the people in the new silent majority are. I, for one, remain silent when I encounter anybody who starts praising him.
3. Self-praise is what gets him through each day so nothing unusual in this.

If Rush is a dolt, he is laughing all the way to the bank. If he makes $70M he must be appealing to someone, somewhere. And we are not talking about a couple of hundred people, but millions.
