Gov. Don Siegelman was undefeated in every statewide office he ran in in Alabama. Karl Rove’s best friend and business partner was married to an Alabama Federal Prosecutor. After a Black Judge dismissed charges brought against Gov. Siegelman-as having the least merit he’d sat on in 30 years on the bench-Rove & Sessions brought in Judge Fuller. Fuller had been the subject of an investigation by then Alabama AJ Siegelman. Fuller should have recused himself. Conflict of interest. Didn’t happen. Eventually Fuller-an arrested spousal abuse perp in Atlanta and again with the second wife-drugs alcohol and spousal abuse-Fuller eventually saw the light and resigned from the bench to avoid impeachment and not incidentally possibly hold his pension.
