Kennedy, Cassidy, don’t you find it a little sad that Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) has bigger cojones than either of you?

In a major break with President Trump, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) said Thursday that she is struggling over her support for her fellow Republican and praised former defense secretary Jim Mattis for a statement in which he accused Trump of trying to deliberately divide Americans.
“I thought General Mattis’s words were true and honest and necessary and overdue,” Murkowski told reporters at the Capitol, adding that she had been “struggling” to find the right words to express her feelings about Trump’s presidency.
Her comments stood out among Republicans, who for most part either remained silent (read: cowards) in the wake of Mattis’s criticism, accused the media of trying to stir controversy (read: liars) or offered supportive words for Trump (read: enablers)— who attacked Mattis on Twitter on Wednesday after his extraordinary statement published by the Atlantic. (emphasis mine)
SO, WHERE ARE OUR BIG, BAD, BRAVE SENATORS? Kennedy? Cassidy? Anyone? Bueller?

Louisiana Voice 
Where are our brave Louisiana United States Senators and Representatives who have sworn to protect our Constitution from all attacks at home & abroad? I would guess that they can be found in Trump’s hip pockets…just waiting there for him to pull them out and put them thru their TV Reality Show acts to aid and abet him in his now criminal presidency. Just a wild guess…

I think one must look to a more posterior place & perform a cavity check to find them
I have stopped trying to “contact” John Kennedy. He never answers. And when he finally does, he sends the “generic” response. Once, I wrote 4 letters, asking 4 different questions. I laughed when I got the exact same generic letter from him. None of the replies from him addressed my concern.
Now, with Cassidy, at least he will respond to your specific question, after the usual “thank you so much for your concern” paragraph. But, it is usually a response that doesn’t say too much.
It’s politics. They are afraid to commit to anything that may upset one faction or another. I am so tempted to write them now but it really is a waste of time. Such a shame.
Sometimes I’m tempted to send them a four word letter saying “I vote. Every election”.
KP, odd that I have had the reverse experience. Kornpone’s bot sends something sometimes close to what I wrote about. Cassidy’s has stopped sending any response. I guess it is a little cathartic to write them and maybe the bots are keeping count of things – though some of the responses I’ve gotten show they are counting wrong. Oh, well…
Anyone that quotes the Deep State Washington Post is a melon head.
Melon head? is that the best you can do? You don’t even make honorable mention for insults.
BTW, sometimes we also quote The New York Times, MSNBC, CNN, even Fox.

I love the facts presented by our Military leaders. I am confident we will survive Trump. Our congressional lack of vision repugnants ( I made up a word??) will survive him too. They will get no respect from me, which of course means nothing to any of the spineless but I will continue to write them letters, protest anytime I can, vote and make sure my family and my veteran family know that my oath to “support and defend the Constitution” never ends. I wrote a homily on this in 2014 and use it or push it anytime. love always ron thompson
