Why is the fact that Putin worked to elect Trump and that this Republican Congress has done nothing to prevent this from happening again NOT being seriously discussed. How can this be ignored when we consider how Trump will get re-elected. This concerns me most of all.

My god, Zoe, it must be getting more and more difficult to defend Trump. Your claims are exhibiting a little less conviction these days.
And I haven’t seen one person, on this blog or elsewhere, defending rioters and looters. What they have defended is peaceful demonstrators who, under the First Amendment, have the right to congregate and protest. When the working media are attacked by police (one was permanently blinded in one eye by a rubber bullet), that’s pretty hard to defend. When Trump struts across the street (after police tear-gassed peaceful protesters) to stand in front of a church and sanctimoniously hold a Bible (upside down) for photographers, the whole scene is so absurdly surreal that a real defense is just impossible.
I wish for once, you would compile a list of Trump’s actual accomplishments and post them here. I’d like to see what it is that enamors you so to him. And if you do, please don’t be general; list specific accomplishments. I don’t want to see crap like “he did what he said he’d do.” that doesn’t count. Too ambiguous.
If Zoe listed impeached trump’s accomplishments it would just be her repeating the lies she believes. Zoe, like many others, some very intelligent, has been brain washed to only believe what she hears from con-servative media. Very dangerous for our representative republic for so many to be making voting decisions based on easily disprovable lies.
Ms. Zoe….where have you been? The evidence has been clearly presented in the House of Representatives Impeachment Committee. The Senate refused to even listen to or look at this evidence…this did not mean that there was not evidence. Where do you get your false information? There are at lease 17 of our government intel agencies that have reported on Russian interference and communications with Trump supporters, even his own son, with the purpose of helping to elect Trump! Just because Barr said it wasn’t so does NOT mean that it wasn’t so! Even Putin said on record that he wanted Trump to win and since Trump only won the Electoral College by a slim margin, but nevertheless, he won…he has bent over backwards and turned himself into a pretzel to please Putin. And, you have the audacity to claim that none of this is true. You obviously do not understand how dictators come into power. You blindly defend everything that gives Trump more and more power. You refuse to see how he lies and lies and lies and lies about his own lies. There are legitimate protesters and there are those who take advantage of every opportunity to sow discord, steal and hide behind the legitimate process. Trump would have the military start shooting mercilessly into any crowd that forms and just kill those that would be innocent. Boy, that should teach those folks that they aren’t real “Trump Americans” and they should sit down and shut up….because Trump and folks like you said so. Payday…..someday!
Is there a Nobel Prize for hypocrisy? When was the last time Trump read the Bible? If he does (which I seriously doubt), how much has he assimilated into his life? According to the rector of St. John’s, Trump has not attended service since March 17, 2019 (an Episcopal Church on St. Patrick’s?). Of course, the photo op plays well with his base.
Would like to send a copy of George Will’s column to the Louisiana Congressional delegation and AG Landry..of course, pearls before swine..will be wasting my time. May we hear from Zoe?
News reports that trump and whatever woman is following him around today will visit several Catholic holy sites. Last I heard, Jesus wasn’t big on hypocrites. Religious leaders should ask this hypocrite to stay away from their sites, or absent themselves if they show up anyway. The only church where trump (and whoever) should be welcome is where he worships regularly. (Hint: nonexistent) Golf courses excluded.
