Before the furor had died down over Donald Trump’s demented comments about injecting disinfectants and ultraviolet lights as a means of combating coronavirus [ideas he had to have been pulled from the lower recesses of his anatomy] it was already being predicted that he would attempt to WALK BACK the stupidest thing ever uttered by a leader of any description since Kool-Aid dispenser JIM JONES.
And yes, I’m fully aware that comparing him to Jim Jones will bring out the Trump devotees who will be frothing at the mouth and screaming “Unfair!” So, go ahead, take your best shot but I shall not back down because what the Golden Cheeto has done is no different than Jones who [perhaps unintentionally] gave us the terms “Kool-Aid drinker,” and “Drink the Kool-Aid.”
Suggesting that coronavirus sufferers might find relief by injecting light or disinfectant into their bodies is not only stupid, but irresponsible, dangerous and inexcusable.
And whoever sent out that email photo with the suggestion that he would deny ever saying such a thing wasn’t far off.
By Friday afternoon, Idiot-in-Chief and his White House lackeys were already into damage control.

But here’s the thing. Let’s just, for the sake of argument, say you were just being sarcastic. That begs one question: WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING? [Sorry to shout, but damn! You are just so very stupid.]
Just in case you aren’t aware, we’re in the middle of a pandemic and people are dying. Dying, Mr. Frump, DYING! And you’re being sarcastic?!!!!?
Excuse my anger and indigence, Mr. T-Rump, but that was neither the time nor the place for “sarcasm.” Anyone with a modicum of intelligence and common sense—of which you constantly boast but seem to possess such a minute quantity—would know that.

Bob, my god, man, it was on live TV. The whole world heard it. It wasn’t something someone made up: he said it during his corona briefing on Thursday. I heard it, everyone heard it. No one put words in his mouth. It’s one thing to deny a rumor but to deny what millions of people heard is delusional.

I think that the fact that a president of these United States would use childish sarcasm at such a very sad and serious time just goes to provide further evidence that Trump is actually a childish, rude, spoiled old man who thinks he is cute, talented and funny. This alone should have long ago disqualified him from presidency. However, the truth is that he was deadly serious. He tried to force the doctor to support his “big idea”. He wanted to do his friends a favor and more than anything he wants to be the one that finds the treatment/cure for this virus. ALL of this seems to be acts that are deliberately hurting Americans….all Americans, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Black, Whites, Hispanics, Native Americans, Legal and Illegal Immigrants, Christians, Atheists….any person that is living on American soil is in danger from Donald Trump all of the time! What say you Republicans….how many of you have to be sacrificed before you admit that you have created a president monster and given him even more powers than other presidents have had?
This is not the first time President Trump has pretended to be “sarcastic” when his free association put him in a corner and it is likely to not be the last. However, Ivanka, or somebody else he trusts, needs to introduce a new word to his somewhat limited vocabulary – “facetious” – since that would be the more appropriate word to use in these rare situations when he realizes he may have misspoken. He would still be lying, but at least he would be using the correct word.
