“It’s really unbelievable that we have allowed our nation to be shuttered. Let’s see what we can do about that. Come May 1, the government is either going to allow America to open, or America is going to force the government to open.”
––Clay Higgins, Louisiana’s pitiful excuse for a member of Congress, in a typically incoherent rant while standing outside Trump Tower on Wednesday. Higgins, who couldn’t cut it as a law enforcement officer, apparently wants to incite an insurrection against the government he has sworn to protect.
I have to assume his constituents know they elected an anarchist.
Mr. Winham…I would guess that his constituents do not know what a big word like “anarchist” means. I would guess that they just want to hear what they want to hear and he knows what they want to hear. This seems to be the quality of Republican “public servant” in Louisiana these days and we can’t seem to overcome the downward spiral.
Does he even know the meaning of “anarchist”?
A true Trumpite, Higgins is a lying egomaniac and a threat to our Nation’s security. And yes, Ms. Herring is exactly correct. WE should be watching our goofy AG Jeff Landry, who wants to be elevated to chief Trumpite. ron thompson
“’Republican’ has increasingly come to mean a Trumpian extremist who has adopted dangerous, fringe views.” Jennifer Rubin – WAPO April 23, 2020
Kinda looks like the “Captain” fits the profile don’t it…
It’s amusing that here in ruby red hurricane country, no one ever screams about government overreach, or interference with their liberty to go where they please, when the governor or mayors order mandatory evacuation ahead of incoming storms. Most people evacuate, but there is always that minority who refuse to leave, then beg for and demand government employees to rescue them when they are at home in dire trouble.
