I have been saying that no nation can survive being governed by lies and liars. When the President lies all of the time about everything and his political party repeats his lies and makes policies based on his lies and his state propaganda machine (FOX) spread his lies and 40% of Americans believe his lies….America is in deep, deep trouble!
CJ, you left out “in my opinion” in your comment. And Edith, we survived 8 years of Obama lying and 8 years of G W Bush leading us into endless wars. And if FOX network is a propaganda machine, what is CBS, MSNBC, CNN if not constant liberal editorial anti-Republican networks ? I think the nation will survive 8 years of economic prosperity under Trump. The real question should be could we have survived 8 more years of Obama (under Hillary).
CJG, Edith, ever been pecked to death by a duck? That’s what Zoe’s obsessive defense of trump and her condemnation of everything Obama feels like. A new report just out shows that the U.S. was warned repeatedly over the past 20 or so years of the potential damage a pandemic like coronavirus could do. Those warnings were ignored by every administration – including trump. And trump received even more dire warnings as far back as last November and failed to act.
Zoe, meanwhile, giddily points to trump’s closing the airports to visitors from China on Jan. 31 – three months late. And while Zoe is still locked in on that “great economy” (that trump inherited from Obama, by the way – check the Dow growth percentages of Obama against that of trump), trump was failing to act on increasing the stockpile of needed equipment in the advent of such a pandemic.
