He can be caught in his many lies. He can be confronted with circumstances beyond his control which make him look bad and his attempts at reversing the trend only make it worse. He will not learn from it. It will never be his fault. He will not be humbled. He will not be humiliated. A humiliated narcissist is an oxymoron.
