“I would get a Nobel Prize for a lot of things if they give it out fairly, which they don’t.”
—Donald Trump, lamenting the fact he didn’t receive the Nobel Peace Prize at a campaign rally in Toledo, Ohio, in January. (Of course there’s always the possibility he will win the Nobel for medicine for his heroic work on combating the coronavirus epidemic.)
Of course, I’m surprised that you didn’t mention Obama getting a Nobel prize for…what exactly? As I recall, the Nobel committee met and awarded Mr. Obama a Nobel prize before he was actually fully active as President. But then again, since he was representative of the world’s liberals, he should get the Nobel prize…even if he didn’t exactly do anything deserving of it…shouldn’t he?
By contrast, President Trump pushed the Taliban to the negotiating table, got the North Koreans to finally come to discussions about a treaty (something Obama did not do), and got NAFTA shelved so a reasonable border agreement could be generated. But for that he got….crickets.
Let’s see if your standard bearer, Quid Pro Joe, can even manage to even stand up through a complete debate with Socialist/Commie Bernie after the DNC shut out the only woman left in the race. That was a real plus for the Democrats as it was revealed on International Women’s Day. So much for the “feminist factor” eh…
Sir, if you don’t mind me asking a question…is there anything you disagree with Trump about or find any fault with him about? Just curious to further understand your thinking process about him.
1. Have you checked the latest news on how the Taliban deal is working out? 2. North Korea is not just doing what it was going to do anyhow, but seems to be more belligerent than ever.
3. Many people would argue that, not only was NAFTA a good idea, but that the trade wars in which we currently find ourselves have worked to our disadvantage.
Ditto CJG’s comment.
Evidently, outlaw53 you are not a farmer. While you bash NAFTA, the trade wars are damaging to many of America’s farmers. North Korea just had two weapons test in a week, launching five missiles in two tests. Echo what Stephen Winham said about the Taliban.
