To Trump supporters, let me say that I do not compare him to Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Castro, Qaddafi, et. al. But I do say, if he could, and he is trying, he would supplant them. It is not a question of whether I like him or hate him. It is not just that I may or may not agree with him on a particular political issue. It is the fact that I have studied past and present tyrants and how they got to their positions of power. It is the fact that some of us can plainly see Trump’s rhetoric and actions following the same path these dictators followed on their road to absolute power. There is not enough space here for a lengthy explanation of the methods they used, but please, take a few minutes to Google something like “how dictators came to power.” See if you don’t see parallels to Trump. And BTW, did you see yesterday the revision of his election stance on Social Security and Medicare?

You do not compare him to (list of bad guys) and then immediately imply that he is of the same fabric as they.Let me say this…the only politicians I see similar to the bunch you refer to is the Clinton’s whose trail of dead bodies is up around 20 people. Is it true ? I certainly do not know, but there are a lot of strange things that have happened and are they all co-incidental ? Like Jimmy Hoffa, we may never know. How many deaths have occurred around Trump ? I believe the count is around zero; But Trump is the psychotic thug wanna be ????
You guys accuse Trump of conspiracy for various things and completely ignore things like Bill Clinton meeting Loretta Rice on tarmac at the very same time as his wife was under investigation. Nope, nothing to see here. The DOJ has just admitted spying on Carter Page (and Trump)…a total violation of law. Was it authorized by Obama ? Nope, nothing to see here. Comey will most certainly be indicted in the near future for his FISA warrant abuse, Nope, nothing to see here.
CJG, do you know what the Gestapo were ? Do you find any similarities between that organization and the Justice Department under Obama administration ? Well I agree with you re. do some research. I hope your eyes open up, but I know they will not because you refuse to believe what many of us already see’; the Obama era was rife with corruption and race baiting as well.
As others and I have said many times before, whatever you believe Hillary, Bill, Barack or anybody else did in the past, or are even doing today, in no way excuses or justifies the actions of this President. As your mother probably told you in such situations, “If your friend jumps off a building are you going to?” There is a very distinct difference in this President and the way he “governs” that sets him apart from any previous president in very dangerous ways. You do not agree, but that is the way I see it.
