“Louisiana Voice”? This page should be named “I Hate Trump” . That’s all that is ever on here; have you nothing else to write about? Evidently you are a Democrat that will never be satisfied until Trump is gone and the country will be ground under the heel of the Democratic Leftist Liberal(unless you don’t agree) Party.
I’m sure you have way more education than I do , I keep hoping you can find another interest
Can you provide one reason, just one will suffice for now, why everyone should NOT hate trump and want him out of office?
But no one forces you to come here and read the quotes Tom does, do they?
You make a totally incorrect charge with regard to this series. IF you would use your brain, you would realize the fact Aswell is trying to do the REVERSE of what you charge. Rather than editorializing about Trump and/or others, he is simply quoting them. These are their words, not his. If you want to defend those words, by all means do so, but don’t attack Tom (or anybody else) for putting them out there for people to see and judge.
With regard to your last sentence, have you ever studied history? If not, you might want to. If you don’t see similarities between what is happening now and what has happened in other countries that ultimately fell to dictators, you are not reading the same histories I am.
I think it is quite clear Tom Aswell does not like President Trump. Neither do I. Neither do at least 50% of U. S. voters. We, like you, are perfectly entitled to our opinions. Freedom of speech, despite the best efforts of some, has not yet been eliminated in this country.
But, again, this series of LouisianaVoice posts are simply unedited QUOTES, NOT opinions. None are taken out of context, as far as I can tell, and the context is provided only when needed. The words speak for themselves and they don’t need me, you, Tom Aswell, or anybody else to interpret or explain them.
I agree with you chickinqueen. Just hang on for a little Tom will change subject. I think he is having a senior moment the past few days.
The truth hurts and apparently a few Trump supporters are uncomfortable at being reminded of their hero’s own words.
I noticed that few will ever discount or try to deny the truth about Trump, his actions and his quotes. In the face of the reality of Donald Trump’s mess, it is amazing to me that he has defenders….
May I recommend to one and all the book ‘The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 37 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President – Updated and Expanded with New Essays – Lee, Bandy X.’ It was updated in March of this year. I would also recommend Jeff Guinn’s ‘The Road to Jonestown’ which relives the horrors of Guyana when over 900 followers of Jim Jones drank the cyanide laced Kool-Aid at his command and blindly committed suicide in 1978. Those who did not do so voluntarily were injected with it. And, BTW, thank you Tom Aswell for these quotes. I know you are not a Democrat. Not that it matters. These quotes are factual. However, as Trump supporters say, “Don’t confuse me with the facts, I’ve already made up my mind…and even if I’m wrong, I’m probably right.”
I would also recommend ‘A Warning’, published November 19, 2019. It is authored by a person who was, and probably still is, a White House official. There is nothing particularly new or unexpected in it, but it tends to validate a lot of things we should all be worried about. It is not written in sensationalist style and seems very credible. I guess that’s why it didn’t get more attention when it was first released. It is a fairly quick read and, because it is so recent, it covers most of the Trump administration up to now.
