  1. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) on Twitter yesterday:

“Praying for the students, teachers and first responders affected by the tragic shooting in Florida. Our hearts go out to the victims and their families.”

Career recipient of $2,861,047 from the NRA.

  2. 1. Who cares?
    2. Good for you, but what about them?
    3. And you could do something practical to help – will you?
    4. Correct – Would you consider moving to Louisiana?

  3. Bill Cassidy and the rest of the politicians who accept NRA funds: “pro-life”, all of them.

  4. The NRA and our Republican Majority are cowards and they shouldn’t get “mulligans” from the Family Forum, Tony Perkins, Woody Jenkins, and Freedom Caucus. They should be condemned and forced to wear SDS insignia. and that is not students for a democratic society. Love always but I sure as hell do not have to like them, ron thompson.

Remember the NRA push for a State Constitution amendment, at A Republican luncheon. An employee of the Coroner’s office recommended an AR-15 for home security/safety, the same weapon used to kill our children, even had one with a F****ing light.

Prayers and condolences form this group ring hollow, it is the easy way out, they do not have the courage, or the political will, to call out the NRA for what it is, to refuse the obscene blood money they greedily accept, and to do the hard work it takes to pass legislation that really matters. When we allowed the slaughter of 20 precious children and their teachers to go by without doing anything, we lost our moral conscience, since it has just been rinse and repeat….
