Here comes Kennedy (and in case you’re wondering, there’s a flask full of weed killer and a hand gun under the front seat)

Another vulgar politician from Louisiana with unbridled ambition.
Thank you! Your post just about covers Kennedy!
Ummm, nope nope nope! He sold his soul to Master Drumph already. He is now, officially, OLD news. OLD crap. He’s done.
Normally, I’d agree. But this is Louisiana and I’m long past being surprised at our politics. After all, we elected Nungesser and Jeff Landry. And before that, Jindal and Caldwell. And there was Doug Green, Sherman Bernard, David Duke…and too many of legislators and sheriffs to even begin to name.
John Kennedy embarrassed Louisiana during televised Senate hearings earlier this year. He needs to keep a low profile and try to rebuild the confidence that LA citizens had in him many years ago. He’s lost his compass in recent years: switching political parties, trying to out-trump Trump. He’s a big disappointment
I really like Mr.Kennedy and I am a Republican. I just changed over recently from being a Democrap for a long, long time. Hillary made me do it and when I saw the article of Obama in the limo with a young man, that finished it for me with the Democratic party, not to mention Bill Clinton and Hillary with their side mission with children. Unacceptable behavior no matter what party they belonged to.
Sorry, but I still love of you and respect your opinions.
As far as race goes, when are people going to realize that there is only ONE race, that being the Human Race?
David Duke, and all the haters are not making things better for America they are trying to take over America. I don’t want any part of what they stand for.
Barbara, those stories of the Clintons and the children and Obama in the limo with the young man are two of thousands of internet hoaxes. They never happened. Neither one. Never. Bill and Hillary did a lot of bad things but child prostitution was not one of them. Not with a pizza parlor or with anything or anyone else.
Bill rode Lolita Express 26 times. Hillary rode it a half dozen. Just sayin.

fairness2014, you can do better than this. Look at this report on your source:
https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/daily-presser/
Talk about spinning the news!!!!
Tom, I do admire your loyalty to the positions you take but you know Bill and Hillary are dirty, have been for a long time! I do appreciate you keeping things out in the front for your readers like me who disagrees with much of what you write but it gives me the perspective of the other side! I do on the other hand like the way you tackle things and bring it to the front and believe it or not I do find myself agreeing with you and supporting your position on some issues. But Bill and Hillary still stink as well as the 44th!! I’m gonna hold back on Kennedy at this time because I’m not convinced yet he can pull it off. Like you said, this is Louisiana!!!
Bud, not entirely sure where you’re coming from. If you think I am a fan of Bill and Hillary (Billary), you are oh, so very wrong. I have never defended them except to say that the story about Hillary being involved in some sort of pedophilia ring is ridiculous and I do hold to that. First of all, how stupid would it be for any public official to get involved in something like that knowing the lid would eventually come off and rot come pouring out? I mean, look at Weiner, and now Roy Moore of Alabama, Vitter, Bob Livingston and others who only played around with adults and got caught. Children? No way and the “proof” Fairness put up is from one of those right wing nutcake sites that probably thinks the earth is flat and which has been thoroughly debunked. I cannot stand Hillary. She’s shrill, insincere, obnoxious and she certainly took part on the sabotage of Bernie Sanders’s campaign. And her book? I can tell in two words What Happened? She freaking lost. Period. End of story. She didn’t need a book to get to that answer. As for Bill, I did stand up comedy for a few years and got a lot of laughs from a bit I did on him and Monica Lewinsky. If we ever meet, I’ll do it again just for you. A command performance for an audience of one. How special is that?
I’m a big John Kennedy supporter, but I always admire political satire, and this one is GREAT!!
Hate to be a spoiler for all the other commenters but, IMHO (and I said the same the moment he declared for U. S. Senator), the second he declares he’s a candidate for Governor in 2019, everyone else may as well get out of the way because he’s a LOCK for victory!
I’m still laughing about the “savor it for a while” quote though! As they say in the commercials: “Priceless!”
Robert, I know I said nothing would surprise me but do you care to place a small wager on that? Say a hundred bucks? I can use some walking around money.
Yep. You’re on, Tom. $100 it is!! If Kennedy ends up not running (which I doubt), nothing to bet on. If he does declare he’s in the race, I’m in for $100. You can have all other candidates in the race collectively (I. E. you win if ANYBODY BUT Kennedy wins).
I’ll take Kennedy for a Benjamin.
Thanks Mr. Tom but Hillary did too many things wrong and I will never understand how she could stay with Bill after the Monica thing. As far as Obama goes I never believed that he was American and I am glad he is gone.
I’m with Robert and I like Mr. Kennedy also. He used to call me often for telephone conferences and I suggested to him that he run for Governor. He is just a nice person, a common sense guy. He doesn’t try to put on a show. He is what he is. I won’t bet on politics but I love to bet when the car races come around. The State Capitol races and No Problem raceway are really exciting. We used to love the Laplace races years ago and we spent a lot of time out there. I love car racing!
I like and voted for both Governor Edwards and Jeff Landry too. Do they both do everything correctly? That would be no but I think they both try to. I don’t think we will find a candidate that does everything right. We just have to pick the best pick of the draw and hope they do a good job. What other choice do we have?
I think the A.G. and the Governor are doing a fair job. When they both got in they had a heck of mess to try to clean up. They are trying and that is all we can ask and hope for. Both of them are better than what they replaced and they both have some time left so we have to wait and see just how much they can accomplish. When election comes around again, then we all have the choice of keeping them or voting them out.
Louisiana Voice lets the public know just who is doing what and how and exposes them all and we are grateful for the blog and for Tom. Tom must shuffle paperwork in his sleep to put out all these articles but without him no one would know about any of it unless they were involved somehow so I am grateful to him.
Maybe we could convince Tom to run for office. Whatever office he took over, Lord help them because Tom would make sure that ever i was dotted and every t was crossed. No excuses for failure, everything by the book and he would look around the room one day and everybody would be gone because they wouldn’t be able to work that way. That would be hilarious, a perfectly run office, talk about making history.
Thank you for stating this. It keeps showing up…like that perverbal bad penny.
“Obama not an American” really? You lost me on that one…
Obama has family ties to foreigners and I don’t know if he is really a Muslim like they proclaimed. I don’t believe he ever slept outside on the streets either making his way through college. If so, then there are others who have done worst to get their degree so what makes that so special for him. There are a lot of Americans who never had that opportunity to go to college because they couldn’t afford it, so if Obama thought I had any sympathy for him then that would be no. He came here for a better life, stayed for a while and now he is gone. I do thank him for his service to America and he is going to be remembered forever just like every other President, no more no less.
Sorry if I offended you Edith, it wasn’t intentional I promise you.
Barbs is talking gibberish. “Obama came here for a better life and now he’s gone”??? What is that supposed to mean? He’s gone? Really? Where did he go?
Here is a quote from JNK’s senior high school yearbook [of which my wife, a classmate of his, has a copy], his stated ambition as he graduated high school:
“To be successful and happy as Pres. Of the U. S.”
He may have lowered his goal – or maybe not. Whatever, he clearly morphs, as necessary, to reach the next step in his plan.
My main problem is that he, or anybody, would see Louisiana governor as a step up from U. S. Senator. Maybe 30 years ago, but not now. If he does have his sights set on being governor, he must believe our fiscal problems will be solved by then, one way or another, because he clearly proposed no workable solutions for them before he left for D. C.
I am glad he comments on the state politicians because it seems the press has lost their watch dog mentality and are more interested in propaganda and pushing someone’s platform. This is Louisiana and we have and have had our share of corrupt politicians. If Mr. Kennedy runs for governor he has my vote.
The 2016 election was held one year ago. Let’s move on.
Uh…Not sure what your point is, but I think the cartoon was referencing the 2019 governor’s race that Kennedy wants so desperately to be a candidate in. That being the case, it would appear that Mulhearn is doing just what you suggest: moving on.
Buck, Obama is gone from the White House is what I meant. I would have thought a smart person like yourself could have figured that one out all by yourself.
Well, in your own words: “He came here for a better life, stayed for a while and now he is gone.” Taken in context, you appear to be saying he came to this country “for a better life.” So when you say “now he’s gone,” it really does sound like you’re saying he’s gone from this country. Any smart person would agree that it’s a little confusing.
Forgive me Buck you are so correct. I read it again and you are the man for calling me out on this one. You got me! I bow to you Buck for correcting me and I will be more careful from now.
I am still very glad that Obama is gone from the White House and that Hillary lost the election. I really hope Obama is enjoying his life now without all the stress of being President. I also hope Hillary goes to jail soon, real soon.
You the man Buck, take a bow!!!
