“It turns out we were boondoggled on that.”
—State Sen. Dan Claitor (R-Baton Rouge), commenting on the “deliberative process” exemptions pushed through the legislature in his 2008 “ethics reform” package, as quoted by the Center on Public Integrity’s 2015 state rankings.
“Jindal’s ‘gold standard’ is riddled with loopholes and cynical interpretations by the governor and other state officials.”
—The Center for Public Integrity, criticizing Bobby Jindal’s “gold standard” of ethics, in its 2015 state rankings report.

If it weren’t such a disgrace, Jindal should be in a nut house. He hasn’t a clue what Government is for, and it’s not to bow down to the oil industries nor the movie industrie. It would be fine if we were getting a return on our ininvestment. The only one getting a return is that low life, who thinks he actually has a chance of becoming President. He couldn’t be president of the SPCA!
As I look at the ruin that Jindal is leaving Louisiana in, I can’t help but harken back to Gov Mike Foster’s role in unleashing him on us. And, of course, there are all of those that joyfully voted Jindal in office twice. There is much blame to go around in this Republican state we are in. I just marvel that while most folks are sick about our situation…many are continuing to vote for just the same group that got us into this mess. Just can’t figure where our Cajun Common Sense has gone!
